The Episcopal Media Center division of the Alliance for Christian Media, parent of Day1, held its annual benefit dinner on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta. Honored were longtime Protestant Hour host and Alliance trustee, Don Elliot Heald, for his many years of leadership and service. Also honored were the Episcopal preachers on Day1 in 2006, including the Rev. Martha Sterne (rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Maryville, TN) and the Very Rev. Samuel G. Candler (dean of the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, GA). Here are a few photos of the event.
